“The Fellows Program was truly the best 9 months of my life. It taught me what it meant to be in authentic genuine community while learning how to integrate faith into all parts of your life. I met some of my closest friends during this time that I still talk to. It is truly life on life while working in a job of your interest, living with a family and being a part of that family for a year, serving the church and experiencing a leadership role, serving and leading youth, and seminary classes. It prepares you by teaching you techniques and then applying those in different areas of your life. The program prepared me for different seasons and chapters of my life. As I enter into a new stage of my life in Houston as a teacher, I carry with me tools and principles I learned in my Monday and youth leadership meetings. It reminded me that God is sovereign in and through all things, He is Lord of all things, He places you right where you need to be for such a time as this. The fellows is an experience I will never forget. I know that the Lord placed us all there for that season of life and I carry that with me in all my new chapters. I am beyond grateful for Justin and Allison as they opened up and poured there life into us. We all became more than just friends, but brothers and sisters in Christ. I love the Macon Fellows!”
