Rachel Pontier
Fellows Director
Rachel is a native Iowan, but has spent most of her adult life south of the Mason-Dixon line. She graduated from Dordt College in 2005 and then promptly left the country and spent 4 years as a missionary teacher in Managua, Nicaragua. Recognizing her time in Nicaragua was coming to a close she enrolled at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis where she earned a Masters in Theological Studies. In 2012 she joined the youth staff at Christ the King Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas. After five wonderful years in the Lone Star State, she decided to move to Macon, Georgia where she is the Fellows Director and Assistant Director of Young Adults at First Presbyterian Church.
Justin Leslein
Young Adult Pastor
After spending 9 years doing college ministry and working in the business world, Justin joined First Presbyterian as the Pastor of Young Adult Ministries. Justin works with young professionals, Fellows, and college students in and around Macon, GA. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and has a Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. Justin and Elizabeth have been married over 13 years and have four beautiful children.
